For those who would like to live it up and make a true weekend experience of our wedding there are a number of accommodation options in the region. We are staying at the lovely Balgownie Estate Retreat - where we have also reserved quite a number of rooms for guests.
Balgownie Estate:
Is another beautiful winery in the Yarra Valley and only 10 minutes from the
Reception venue of Helen's Hill Winery and approximately 15 minutes from St Patrick's Parish in Lilydale.
Suites which contain a lovely balcony, living area, practical kitchenette (you could bring your own breakfast) and a great bathroom with a full size spa are normally $350 a night, but we have negotiated the below packages for guests.
- Room Only package at $230.00 per suite
- Bed & Breakfast package at $250.00 per suite.

Idea: Why not come up for lunch on the Saturday, book in a visit at the Day Spa they have on site and truly relax before getting ready for a "big night"!
